how it works

Made by hand, with their name on it

Nothing here is printed on demand by a machine in another country. You choose a piece, we put their name on it, and we make it by hand in Perth.

  1. Pick your piece

Notebooks, desk sets, mouse pads, clipboards, keepsakes. Every physical item is made to order, so nothing sits in a warehouse.

  2. Add their name

Type it exactly as you’d like it to read, then confirm the spelling before you add to cart. Personalisation is free — it is never an upsell.

  3. We make it by hand

In our Sorrento studio, usually the same week. Resin pieces need 48 to 72 hours to cure properly, so those take a little longer.

  4. We pack it and send it

Most orders are ready in 7 to 15 business days, and a few pieces take 2 to 3 weeks. Collect free from Sorrento, or we post it to you.

the practical bits

Questions teachers actually ask

How long will my order take?

Most orders are ready in 7 to 15 business days. Larger orders and resin pieces can take 2 to 3 weeks. If you have a deadline — an end-of-term assembly, a farewell — tell us before you order and we will confirm whether we can make it.

Does personalisation cost extra?

No. Their name is always included, on every piece that offers it.

What if the name is spelled wrong?

We make personalised pieces exactly as supplied, so double-check the spelling as you type it — including whether they go by Mrs, Ms or Miss, which is worth getting right. You confirm the spelling yourself before adding to cart. If you spot a mistake after ordering, email us straight away — we can usually still fix it if we have not started making the piece.

Can I collect instead of paying postage?

Yes. Free pickup from Sorrento. Choose it at checkout and we will let you know when it is ready.

Can you do a whole staffroom?

Yes, and we do it often. Send us the numbers and your deadline and we will quote within 24 hours. Named pieces for a full staff are our favourite kind of order.

Is there a limit on what a teacher can accept?

In Western Australia a gift under $100 is treated as a token gift and needs no declaration. Between $100 and $499 it is declarable but the teacher can keep it, and at $500 or more it has to be declined. This is why our Teacher Starter Kit is $89 — deliberately under the line, so nobody has paperwork to do. The full breakdown is here, including what happens with pooled class gifts.
